Here are my suggestions for unique boat tours to discover the coasts of Capri, Amalfi, and Positano. I love coming up with new itineraries to surprise and delight my passengers. Usually, boat tours around the Island of Capri last little more than an hour. I prefer to extend our sail to at least 3 hours so you can fully enjoy the sea around Capri, stopping at hidden coves and sea caves to swim and explore.
During our sail, we can stop for a visit at the Blue Grotto or one of the lesser-known but equally beautiful sea caves, including the Grotta Bianca or the Grotta dello Champagne.
My island boat tour can be increased to a half day or full day sail. At the end of our tour, we can arrange lunch or dinner in one of the seaside restaurants along the coast of Capri.
We depart from Capri and sail to the Li Galli Islets, where it is said that Ulysses met the mythical Sirens. On the largest of these, you can make out the villa where Rudolph Nureyev spent his final years.
We continue past Punta Campanella, where you can see the remains of an ancient temple dedicated to Minerva, sailing on to Positano, where we can drop anchor so you can take a stroll along the twisting lanes of the village and stop to do some shopping in Positano's charming boutiques. After this we can take you to the bay of Nerano to enjoy a delicious lunch at a traditional seaside restaurant, before returning to Capri late afternoon.
If you are staying in Positano and plan on moving on to Capri, we can combine a transfer with a boat tour of Italy's Amalfi Coast and Island of Capri!
